The Passive Building Foundations training is designed as an entry-point into the world of passive building for homeowners, developers, policymakers, real estate professionals, and anyone else interested in what passive building has to offer. No technical expertise or previous certifications are required to take the training.
Become a Phius Associate
Gain recognition as a Phius Associate by completing the Passive Building Foundations course and passing the exam. Phius Associates possess foundational knowledge on building science, passive building design and construction, Phius Standards, and more.
Learn at Your Own Pace
The Passive Building Foundations training is entirely self-guided, providing maximum flexibility for students. It contains approximately eight hours of interactive content sectioned into nine modules, culminating with a one-hour exam. Those who pass the exam earn the Phius Associate certification.
